Return & Cancellation Policy

At Kannuaj Essence, customer satisfaction is important to us. We take utmost care in packaging and delivering authentic attars and fragrances. However, due to the nature of perfume products, certain return and cancellation conditions apply.

Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.


Cancellation Policy

How to cancel an order?

To request an order cancellation, please contact us as soon as possible:

Please mention your Order ID clearly while contacting us.

Important Notes:

  • Orders can only be cancelled before dispatch.
  • Once the order is shipped or in transit, cancellation is not allowed.
  • If the order is already dispatched, you must first receive the order and then raise a return request (only if eligible).

Return Policy (Perfume & Attar Products)

⚠️ Perfumes / Attars are non-returnable products due to hygiene and safety reasons.

Returns or replacements are only accepted in the following cases:

  • Product received is damaged
  • Product received is defective
  • Wrong item delivered

Conditions for Return / Replacement

Before raising a return request, please ensure:

  • The product is unused and unopened
  • The packaging is original and intact
  • The issue is reported within 48 hours of delivery
  • Images/videos of the damaged or wrong product are shared

Requests without proper proof may not be accepted.


Received a Damaged or Wrong Item?

In rare cases, a wrong or damaged item may be delivered.

If this happens:

  1. Email us at info@kannaujessence.com
  2. Share clear images/videos of:
    • The product
    • Outer packaging
    • Invoice
  3. Mention your Order ID in the subject line

Once verified, we will:

  • Arrange a replacement, or
  • Issue a refund (if replacement is not possible)

Refund Policy (If Applicable)

  • Refunds are processed only for approved damaged / defective / wrong item cases
  • Refunds will be issued via:
    • UPI / Bank Transfer / Original Payment Method
  • Refund processing time: 7–14 working days after approval
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable, unless the error occurred from our side

For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, customers must share bank or UPI details for refund processing.


Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Opened or used attars/perfumes
  • Sample vials / decants
  • Orders returned due to customer unavailability
  • Orders refused at delivery
  • Sale or discounted items
  • COD orders (except damaged/wrong item cases)

Undelivered / Refused Orders

  • If a prepaid order is returned due to non-acceptance or incorrect address, shipping charges will be deducted from the refund.
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Exchange Policy

We only replace items if they are damaged or defective during shipping.
Exchange requests must be raised within 48 hours of delivery with proof.


Shipping for Returns

  • Return shipping may be borne by the customer unless the error is from our side.
  • We recommend using a trackable courier service.
  • Kannuaj Essence is not responsible for lost return shipments.
